Why do Christians value faith?

Faith is the guidance to be ignorant.... Anyone who SERIOUSLY examines the bible and takes a critical approach to it, whilst thinking it over, will eventually find that it's a bunch of hooey... Faith keeps believers ignorant, and thus keeps them following like sheep following a sheppard..
