How did your baby/toddler do when you went back to work?

Thinking of going back to work part-time now that son is 14 months old. Two evenings/week with my hubby taking care of him. Really it shouldn't be a big deal but i can count on one hand since the time he's been born that I've left him for no more than a few hours. There's a big difference between 2 hours and 8 or 9. How did your little one do? Did they cry for hours or do remarkably well? thanks.
