Should i make this a Synchro deck?

yes put level 2, level 3, level 4 that are tuner that are capable to survive. If you do use synchros then use the goyo guardian and stardust dragon and thought ruler archfiend 3 of each plus any other synchros that you wish. Playing 3 double summons will help a lot to synchro summon. get rid of fissure, smashing ground and soul exchange for double summons.
