Should I allow my soon-to-be19 year old son to move back home after being out on his own?

My son Liam moved out in a huff about two months ago. He recently lost a roomie and wants to move back home. He says he has his bills paid up and is just hoping to lower his stress level. My husband says that Liam is just scared that he can't make it on his own but that he can make it just fine. My husband thinks we should not enable Liam to run home because he is afraid. He claims this would not be good for Liam, and that he will be just fine as he is. This is so strange to my thinking. Do we just have vastly different parenting methods? Does my husband have a good point?
