MY mother and I just can't get a long?

Mothers. Their hard. Well like you said she never acted this way prior to the stroke. Which means that you recognize that the stroke effected her. I am 24 now, so my highschool days are not that far behind me. My mother and I never seemed to get along during that time in my life. My mother has said some VERY hurtful things throughout the years to me. And, I must admit their was a point where I said mean and hurtful things to her in return. But now, things are different. Relationships change with age, you will see. Have you tried telling your mom in a calm loving tone how it makes you feel when she says things like that to you? I am sure that your mother is on intentionality trying to hurt you. Mothers are people too and they make mistakes and learn with experience and age. Keep your head up, you cant go wrong with telling someone how they make you feel. :)
