Plot for a sort of fantasy scifi book i read? a teen novel!?

well a few years back i read this book about a girl in the future that ends up going into the virtual reality world because its her birthday and her dad got her a giftcard for the place. She picks the first game with a good-looking guy on it, and starts playing. She really is no good at the game, and when she starts getting farther, there is this temporary glitch and then one of the people running the game appears for a moment, telling her that some protestors broke into the building and damaged the technology for the virtual reality room, putting her brain in danger as she is hooked up to the system for the game. she has a certain amount of time to live and she needs to beat the game by then or her brain will begin to shut down and she will die. anywho, i still remember the whole book, but i cant remember the name. haha it has been bugging me for a while, anyone know the name of the book?.
