Please help. Mainly Girls, but Guys Can Answer, too!?

I'll start from the beginning... first off... he's a year younger (please, no rude comments... age is nothing but a number :)) I've fallen for him, and I'm pretty sure he likes me, too, but I still have a slight doubt. We're already good friends. He's in two of my cles. He's very understanding. I like him soo much that my stomach feels really weird and so does my throat... but the weird part is... I like that feeling... knowing I'll get to see him. It's indescribable. But, I've been hurt by a few guys before. I would love to ask him out, but I'm a little shy. What do I do?
