Do I have carpal tunnel?? Wrist problems!!?

Since december or so i've had a really big problem with my right wrist.. I play drums and my grip is perfect, every teacher / drummer I've asked says my grip is fine, so that isn't the cause. If I hold ANYTHING (pencil, drumstick, etc) with my right thumb & index finger, my entire hand will start to go numb and become impossible to move, no matter how light of a grip I hold something with. Also, If i lay my right wrist on my leg or something, my starts to involuntarily shake! What could it be? :(
