Did the russians capture any Japanese POWs and sent them to Siberia esp towards the end of WW2?

Russia entered the pacific war on August 9 1945 and by September 9 they had captured 594,000 Japanese troops including 148 generals in Manchuria. There is no specific information of where the troops were held, but I would say its a good bet they were sent to Siberia
